Via Rail Canada offers transportation from Montreal to Saguenay on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Passing through the Mauricie Wildlife Reserve, the road is spectacular, with a panoramic view or the boreal forest with its lakes and rivers. The train leaves Montréal at 8:30 am and arrives in Saguenay around 5:30 pm.
