Venue
The venue of the conference is the Seven Springs Mountain Resort (www.7springs.com), a beautiful four seasons resort in the Appalachian Mountains, situated about an hour driving from Pittsburgh.
Transportation to the resort from and to Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT)
will be available for all pre-registered participants at the rate of $ 40 /
person, one way.
The resort is very family oriented and we invite you to combine the conference with a short vacation. Rooms are very spacious, many of them are suites (at the same price with regular rooms), and there are plenty of activities available, including supervised ones during the day for children of all ages.
A block of rooms has been reserved for the conference participants at the discounted rate of $ 125 / night for single occupancy, or $ 160 / night for double occupancy. This rate includes lodging, complimentary breakfast buffet, and activities including swimming, tennis and use of the health spa.
The approved room rate for U.S.A. Goverment employees is $70 / person.
For those who wish to extend their stay the resort is offering the same room rates for several days prior to the conference, and also following it.
Please note that rooms will be booked on a first come – first served basis. There is a great variety to choose from: king rooms, double queen rooms, family style suites having a sleeper sofa in addition to the bed, all for the same price. Half of the rooms in the resort are facing the ski slopes, offering a spectacular view from their balconies. We strongly encourage you to contact us as soon as possible with your choice of room, so we can accommodate your request.
Reservations for the rooms should be made through this web site, to ensure that you obtain the conference discounted rate and the preferential treatment we have contracted with the resort. We do not guarantee room availability after August 15th, 2009.
